Being found during a search for your specific product or service is becoming one of the most important aspects in marketing your business. The bad news is that there are no guarantees to show up on the first page, but with research, a well-built site, web execution, and site promotion it is a reality.
We have recently had several examples in which we performed basic SEO work on a client’s website, promoted it with paid advertising and then watched it climb the organic search ranks. It’s amazing what happens when you follow the guidance of the search engines like Google and others, they reward you by moving you up the chain. As we all know, the competition is fierce for placement on that first or second page.
If it has been over two years since you have reviewed your website content, it is definitely time for a check-up. Search your business with several key words within the various search engines and see how your business appears. If you are not on the first or second page, it’s time to get serious about being found. If you are on the first or second page we still encourage a website review because remember, everyone behind you wants your spot and they will be doing everything they can to get it!
